Commitment to Rescue

Chrystal and her husband Jerry founded Safe Hands Sanctuary out of pure love and dedication to make this world a more loving and compassionate place. Chrystal is a second-generation animal rescuer who saved her first horse at just 14 years old, carrying forward a legacy of advocacy instilled by her mother, who remains active in rescue work today. Together, Chrystal and Jerry have rescued and fostered countless dogs, cats, and other animals, including years of hands-on work abroad in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
